I’m glad our heritage brands are updating. I think McDonald’s can do better and I’m looking to see what Coca Cola is going to do. France is really good about keeping their companies alive over centuries. Japan too.

I think both are strong examples of pride and loyalty. Japan especially. A little off topic but the way Japans CEO navigated the EV transition should be studied - very interesting approach to maximize profits, appeal to the masses, and maintain its prestige

I agree re: pride/loyalty. I think the US is built on being more dynamic so we still have a lot to learn on pairing that base with healthy pride while keeping loyalty something earned. Not hip on Japan EV transition. Got a rundown before I go search?
