Sun-kissed Whenever I am overwhelmed by people and life, I escape to nature. Nature always has something that heals the human spirit. It is perhaps for that reason why landscape photos are so popular. I first fell in love with the lake at Şavşat Karagöl in 2002 and have returned back many times. The photos I take there are different every time because even though the elements in the composition are the same, time, weather and light conditions transform the photograph into something completely different every time I point my camera at it. I have photographed light on water many times but I never quite managed to catch the twinkle of sunlight kissing the water like I did the day I took this photo. Lake Şavşat had a magical twinkle to her that day.
