i have gotten pretty frank with my comments on things i deeply care about. i don't intend to hurt feelings (and sorry where i have); i passionately want important things and genuine people to succeed.

a little color below on why i'm so harsh on Merkle 👇

those who have followed me awhile know I have a history of criticizing Merkle (especially the perverse incentives @dwr.eth and @v have with their own capital invested into @neynar et al.) i still want their ostensible goal to be achieved, but i disagree that the degree of decentralization is "sufficient". we need to keep an eye on them 

if Satoshi had done it their way, Bitcoin probably wouldn't have succeeded 🤷‍♂️
