This Christmas, skip the gift cards and onboard your people to @base.base.eth by gifting an actual game on Baes App. They receive it instantly, and it will be truly and permanently theirs.
Merry Christmas! 🎄 If you followed along this year, you already know this was not “content.” This was shipping. Now let’s rewind 2025 and remember what we actually built together.
GM GM from 2025’s last day. In 2026, the mission is clear: onboard hundreds of indie game developers, and help them ship at least 1,000 genuinely great games through Baes.app. The revenues will be theirs, the royalties will be theirs, the credit will be theirs, and the players will finally get a place that feels like a real console again. That’s the story on the surface, the real work sits underneath it: The protocol-level work is almost done, so every copy sold will create real, measurable net impact for $BAES, by design, not by luck. Of course, none of this matters if the market stays sleepy. We’ve already started testing, measuring, and learning what actually drives trading activity, now we’ll begin to scale what works and drop what doesn’t. In 2026, one of our performance indicators will be daily volume, we want it consistently high, and we’ll make that happen. And to keep the people closest to the mission, a staking incentive program is coming in 2026. It will reward the ones who stay close, not the ones who show up late and loud. It’s going to be a great year. We’re all going to have real fun. Happy New Year!
If it wasn’t for @farcaster, Bario Entertainment System would not exist. Back then, /clanker wasn’t even a thing, and issuing a token wasn’t as normalized as it is today. We launched our first token through a Farcaster frame as an experiment, and the support it received genuinely surprised us. That early belief became the starting point of everything that followed. We didn’t stop at a token. We built a narrative around it, grew real discourse, and started shipping products, and we’re still shipping. We never raised venture capital, because we were busy doing what we genuinely enjoy. We also never worked with anyone to create artificial effects on token price. We focused on building. That’s it. That work took us to Base Batches 001 as a runner-up. The @base.base.eth team clearly saw value in what we were doing and supported us with rewards and grants that gave us a few months of runway. (No one on the team was taking a salary anyway. ☺️) As things progressed, @dtso and @jesse.base.eth invited us to the A New Day One launch talk and the events around it. We showed up. So… We like @base.base.eth, and we respect what’s being built there. We hope teams coming from zero funding, avoiding extractive models, staying away from reflexive and casino-style token mechanics, and focusing on shipping real consumer products are valued in the long run. Still, if we’re honest, we unprecedentedly like Farcaster. It is more than a platform for us. It’s home. That’s where we were born. So yes, there are people we want to thank directly. The genuine interest and care we received from @linda, @dwr, and @dish meant a lot. Every DM was answered quickly, and every interaction showed real intent to help us move forward. That kind of consistency is rare, and we won’t forget it. We also actively use and deeply respect @neynar tooling. Seeing them step in is amazing, and we genuinely believe they’ll do great. As one of Farcaster’s earliest appcoins, we’ll always be ready to support whatever pushes the ecosystem forward. Together. Much higher.
