I built bariOS on a weekend. Didn’t even tell the team. Just kept building this small experiment. Then I added token-gated apps. ($BARIO FTW) Slipped in some abandoned DOS games. Built a YouTube viewer that looks and sounds like an old VCR player; clicky buttons, and all of it. Dropped in Minesweeper. Then MacPaint. Then I connected that MacPaint to Zora. Wrapped the whole thing as a web app, a mobile web app, a PWA, and a mini app. Made it run smooth with Farcaster SDK. Integrated OnchainKit so it just works everywhere. Optimized it for the Ethereum Phone with nothing but a screenshot. Debugged it for Base App without having beta access. At one point, I even built a physical bariOS device with a Raspberry Pi, a touchscreen, and a 3D-printed case. I did everything I could to make it seamless, playful, and deeply wired into the @base.base.eth ecosystem. Now it’s featured on Farcaster. And it’s the most popular gaming mini app on Base App. Thank you for showing love to my small weekend experiment. ✋👊

Two of my favorite projects from Demo Day: 🐾 Cat Town – I’ve actually played this one a lot. It’s fun, relaxing, and built fully onchain. The fishing game is solid, the soundtrack hits, and they’ve already paid out over $1M to players. Real game, real community, real rewards. @cattown 🎮 Bario – Basically an onchain game console. You mint the game as an NFT cartridge, launch it right there, and it’s yours. Devs keep 90% of revenue and 50+ games are coming. Feels like downloading a game on your console, but it’s fully onchain. @bario Both of these are doing it right, not just talking, actually shipping. Today we’re presenting Bario Entertainment System at Base Batch 001 Demo Day. Over the past few weeks, as part of the #IncuBase program with @base.base.eth, @buildonbase, and Odisea Labs, we’ve been building something that tries to answer an old question in a new way. What happens when indie game developers are given not just a place to publish their games, but a system that believes in them, supports them, and stays with them? We didn’t just make a marketplace. We built a distribution channel. A stage. A long-term model for creators who rarely get second chances. There are many other teams pitching today. Each one with its own story, its own belief. We're just grateful to tell ours. And if you're listening, thank you.
