Where does he land? And how much money did his team just lose him?

He lost it himself. My bet is that he loses 50%. Probably UCLA. But I hope a D-II school.

It's not gonna be a D2 school, unless it's like a juco year to reset for the following year. Winning cures all and I don't see 100+ schools passing on a top 10-15 QB, unless he's really hard line on his price which I don't see. I wouldn't place all the blame on Nico tho, he's a 19 year old kid whose dad was heavily pushing the price trying to cash in on his son. I can't fault a kid for thinking his dad had his best interest at fault, even when it blows up in their face

I don’t buy the “he’s a kid” BS. If he’s old enough to make a couple million, he’s old enough to make his own decisions. Of course, he received unwise counsel from those he trusts. But still. That said, I was kidding about D2. It’s almost certainly UCLA.

I don't buy the "old enough to make x" line meaning someone should be financial sound and perfectly mature when it doesn't hold for so many others his age just because they don't earn that much. A child actor can make millions and I wouldn't expect them to be financially savvy and not need guidance on judgment. I didn't make great, long term decisions at 19 and also trusted my parents at that age and that was under much less scrutiny and pressure. I suspect most made poor decisions at 18 or 19 when they look back on it now.
