agreed, base app is the first alternate client that has a good chance at adoption.

on the other side it's a great step for Coinbase to continue it's transition into using the tech they're pioneering

I am a big fan of both.

What I enjoy is the protocol decentralization. This will be a good exercise. The goal is to gradually turn Farcaster into something like HTTPS that many different clients can fluently speak.

No, the term "Crypto Twitter" isn't right to say.  

We don't need Crypto Twitter; we need a decentralized Twitter, a social network that's about everything, not just crypto, while still letting you truly own your account.  

What we need is freedom of media, like Farcaster!

if /network-school wants to endorse farcaster, just slow down the discord community and keep it only for private/important stuff

people create posts on Discord that look more like casts/posts than "messages"

they are creating a lot of good content that could be generating on-chain presence to what network school is, far from the "superficial" instagram content that needs to compete with the web2 algorithm
