a question In the @offmarket app:
to win, do we have to be able to identify the dominant opinion or just predict that event correctly?

you can win in both cases on @offmarket, but for example: 

if you buy bear when 98% are in on bull, and the market closes, 
you will win very big. 

or you can choose to sell when 50% are in on bull now, which means the same number of shares you bought will now be more expensive.
