People are afraid—not because they don’t want justice, but because they don’t believe the system will truly protect them. When cases are reported, they sometimes get twisted, evidence disappears, or the perpetrators face little to no consequences. This is why many choose silence—not because they don’t care about injustice, but because they fear becoming victims twice.
