I haven't slept more than 3 hours per night for the last week. Twice in my tech career all the pieces came together perfectly and I felt so over the top hyped that I could not stop building. The 1st was in 1997-98 when I built the first web-based SaaS because the tech and the vision suddenly converged.🪄 The other is right now. For 3 yrs I've had a powerful vision of what decentralized AI through Kilroy could be and what it could do for the world. Our demos have amazed people & most wanted to give us money, but I kept holding off on launching and I didn't know why. Now I do: 1. I had one absolutely critical component to the agentic model that hadn't hit me yet. Last week it suddenly exploded in front of me and it came from an experience my mother had 36 years ago. 2. The tech wasn't ready yet. Just like in 1995-97, it had not caught up with my vision. The culmination of 1000s of brilliant people in AI busting their asses to evolve the tech is giving me exactly what I needed, now. 🔥👆 LFG!

Dark Matter season 2 episode 5 is what might be referred to as filler, but for me it was an absolutely brilliant and beautiful production that perfectly balances the chaos of the other storylines bringing a beautiful perspective into view. It was 55 minutes of joyfully quiet storytelling and almost perfect direction that the entire series needed.

Dear parents of younger kids, It's damn true that one minute you are trying to make sure you've put all the outlet covers on and the next you are crying like a baby as you drive away from their dorm. Then you tell yourself it'll get easier the more you say goodbye. It doesn't. It actually feels like it's getting worse, because I know every time we leave, he's one step closer to being 💯 on his own. You remember how that goes. You visited less and you called less, cause that's how life goes and your parents are lucky to see you on the holidays. Just savor every moment you have right now. Now is all you will ever have.
