A lot of people are mad about airdrops not being big like they hoped. But here’s the truth. Crypto has turned into a cash grab. Most users don’t care about the tech anymore. They just want quick money and then disappear. Projects see this. That’s why they’re more careful now. The same people crying are the same ones who’ll dump the token right after the airdrop. Some even run big airdrop farming setups with bots. They don’t care about the ecosystem, they’re just farming rewards. These people are hurting the space. They make it harder for real users who actually believe in the tech. I don’t use crypto just for gains. I use Farcaster, even if it’s expensive. I use MetaMask card, not because it’s cheap but because it’s crypto. I support what I believe in. Crypto needs more real users. Two of my favorite onchain content apps: @zora and @10kdotworld.eth Zora is on @base my favorite chain. I believe Base can onboard billions. 10K is on @solana a great L1 too. But even though I love Base, I’m betting on 10K to win this content race. Here’s why: 1. On Zora, you have to buy content and hope it performs. 2. On 10K, you watch to earn, no guessing, just lock and watch. 3. Zora has a coin for every post, and now also coins for every creator. 4. 10K has creator coins only, get in early, earn more as you watch. 5. Zora creators own 50% of their coins. 6. 10K creators own 40% the other 60% gets airdropped to watchers with every video. Both are strong. I like both. But here’s the key: If 10K was on Base, I’d say they win hands down. If Zora finds a way to reward watchers, they could take the crown. At the end of the day, a content app without users is just empty tech. The one who figures out how to reward both creators and watchers wins the race. Hi @alexmasmej and @10kdotworld.eth Been using 10K for a while now and honestly, it works. This can really bring billions onchain if we play it right. Here’s an idea What if we launch a small campaign to fund good creators? So they can pass presale faster and start posting on 10K. The coins used to fund them could also be airdropped to active watchers so now both sides win: 1. Good creators get started faster 2. Loyal users get coins to watch new content 3. More content = more users = real growth This would make it easier for talented people to join not just whales or big names. Just real creators, backed by real users.

IMPORTANT — this morning a bug was encountered on @noiceapp which had led to sending out ~20k unintended tips some older farcaster posts got tipped by mistake due to how we recently changed our event ingestion infra. around 750 users were affected with ~$650 worth tips sent out. why/how it happened: this got triggered after us internally migrating farcaster event ingestion infra from neynar's webhooks to their kafka based stream for reliability reasons. tl;dr: • farcaster emits reaction.deleted events when users hit storage limits • our system misinterpreted these as reaction.created due to missing prior context • that triggered real tips on older casts as our idempotency logic didn’t catch it what we’ve done: • fixed the event type parsing and strengthened idempotency checks • reimbursed all affected users with 2× USDC of the USD value in the tokens originally deducted • personally following up in DMs of affected users with a quick rundown issue is patched, reimbursements are complete and we’ve added safeguards to prevent this in the future. appreciate who helped debug this 🙏

Israel & Iran intercept more drones On Friday, Israel said it stopped over 15 drones sent by Iran. Later that night, Iran said it shot down Israeli drones near the city of Tabriz. Tensions between the two countries stay high.
