A U.S. judge has blocked President Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship. Judge Joseph Laplante said the rule can’t be enforced for now and protects babies born in the U.S. after February 20. The judge called losing citizenship (irreparable harm) and said U.S. citizenship is (the greatest privilege) This came after lawyers made a class action case for all people affected. The ruling gives the Trump team a few days to appeal.
