@nicholas - not sure if you already do this, but i'd love to get a push notif if X amount of people I follow have contributed to an open crowdfund. (this is the primary way I will be diligencing)

Tbh, the idea of crowdfunds have been hilarious to me. I have never conducted one and never plan to. I have a lot of issues, too. Everyone has theirs as well, except if I'm moved or tip Tuesday then it's fine. I wouldn't give out out of pressure, or peer pressure. Jsyk, cause I might never pop up on your notis. I'm busting my a$$ working both irl and onchain. Then someone somewhere would just sit back and open a little piggy bank for people to donate to. It's thought-provoking tbvh, except in cases like the Iranians asking for support or the likes. Otherwise, never!!!

It is good and right that there be public goods open source software that allows people to fundraise for the projects and causes they believe in—for free. No one is obliged to support any @crowdfund at all. Naturally, most projects are not appealing to any one person, and copycats of successful projects abound. It is exciting to see new projects raising for ambitious new work, in addition to the more p2p support (gofundme style) crowdfunds that have proliferated in the first ~6 weeks since launch. I’m not a fan of 1,000 all of the sudden having a sick dog But if people are stuck and put themselves out there for help, it’s great if others can help It’s admirable that you depend on yourself!
