It's weird to text my irl friends or relatives from such a telegram account. It's strange to wirte in car services, to write to different supports. When people ask me what I do, I say various things. mhm just a simple 27 y.o. duck...

Why do you never DM first?

I'm the moderator of 5 chats. And it gives a little bit of security to people that all discussions take place exclusively within the chat

Yeah i know why people put that in their name, but never got why they do it cuz i think its not a solution. I would not sacrifice having a beautiful name without extra symbols for security measure that is half working and could be worked around First, any impersonator can put it in their name too, second, we are terminally onchain so imo we should seek for more sustainable solutions. We actually did one a while ago at Winding tree, it was a telegram bot that could verify users in telegram with one click, but it didn't get much usage.

Experienced crypto dudes of course will no longer chat with anyone in a DM, but the topic of scam in chats is still very and very acutal, almost every day I read some stories that someone wrote in a DM and scammed.

sounds interesting, is it some sort of pocket universe? Actually it helps a little bit. The user may wonder why someone who doesn't DM first decided to write to me. I don't have statistics, but it saved me from scam once in the beginning).
