why i know for a fact ai doesn’t have taste (atleast not yet):
if you use ai for any creative work like copy, design, video, whatever.
out of the box, it gives you some generic slop.
give it better prompts, skills and context and it starts copying someone else’s style (still pretty mid compared to the original references).
fine tune it on your own work and voice, build workflows, add memory, agents, whatever buzzword is hot this week…
and you’ll usually get a more optimized version of average.
the model gets better at imitation.
it knows what people like.
it doesn’t know why something deserves to exist in the first place.
ai is great at pattern matching.
but real taste is knowing which patterns to reject.
