Since the dumb membership update now I’m stuck posting on geopolitics. Apparently I’m not a member neither of ENS or Ethereum, or any other group.
After years of delays I had almost forgotten about ledger Staxx. I’m glad I didn’t though because I received mine today and ITS THE CUTEST GADGET EVER. I haven’t even set it up yet and I am already in love. Last time I felt this way was unboxing the iPod nano. Whatever ledger paid Tony Fadell, it wasn’t enough.
Today in 2015, ERC26 was published: Default Ethereum Name Registrar. It wasn’t the first, Gav already had published Namereg contract. And it wasn’t the last: it tried too much in the same contract, a name registrar, an auction contract, an election contract, all in one package. Fortunately later Nick would publish a much more simple and elegant solution which would eventually become ENS. https://github.com/ethereum/EIPs/issues/26
This might be one of the coolest things I’ve worked on as a DAO steward this year and I think every DAO should fork it. This should be the new gold standard of transparent governance everywhere (including governments). https://discuss.ens.domains/t/introducing-ens-open-ledger/19731
