why is everyone so hyped about granola? 

if i input my rough notes in chat gpt it also contextualizes it pretty well

i do not see chatgpt doing this for me (though they have added a meeting mode recently), i have not used it yet

Correct. It literally just sits on my laptop, and listens. You should of course ask for permission because no one knows this transcript is being recorded otherwise. 

And I take no notes now. Well I do, just add a bit, but the auto generated stuff is amazing

so it fits in users existing workflow where as you have to put in notes manually in chat gpt

Ux is probably good and/or they don't think to use ChatGPT in that way would be my guess
