Related anecdote: went to a restaurant with kiddo this weekend. The waitress apologized for a delay in bringing us our food, saying something along the lines of "Sorry I couldn't bring the fries sooner, the printer was down". She obviously meant that she couldn't print the order for the kitchen, but the comic nature of the non sequitur led to an interesting discussion with kiddo about the future of food, and whether we could one day 3D print carbs and fats and proteins and replicate the texture of most common foods. Which, tbh, would be a massive unlock
