Wowow. I row regularly and Iโ€™m absolutely incapable of going below 2:00 lol. My pace is about 2:43 with a rate of 19โ€“23 (over an hour, mind you)

Yeah but an hour row is legendary and the times for short and long donโ€™t remotely compare imo. Do you do 500s or shorter distances ever, even for measuring full pace?

Even if I do very short distances, I canโ€™t really get below 2 mins / 500m. And even then Iโ€™m instantly dead ๐Ÿ˜‚ I can sustain 2:30 for longer. But yeah, over 30-60โ€™ rowing, Iโ€™ll slow down, with an average of ~2:40, starting at maybe 3:00 and coming down to 2:30 after maybe 20 minutes (during which I get to warm up)

Can you try setting it to 8 and rowing as *hard as you can* for 15 seconds?
