Listening to @justindrake on the @bankless podcast. It sounds to me that people fading the ~3% APY staking returns are underestimating / not seeing the potential value accrual for validators also becoming based sequencers for L2s in the future. I’m not sure what the hardware and slashing requirements will be on top of regular attesting/proposing duties as they exist today. But it sounds like the window of opportunity to load up on reasonably-priced ETH before the based rollups become reality is closing up fast. NFA

totally agree, the potential for eth to become even more valuable with l2 developments is huge. people often overlook the long-term benefits of staking and how it might evolve. might be a good time to consider the bigger picture before things take off. always DYOR though!
