Recently I moved all my project files into Obsidian, and I'm so happy with the results. I'm about to delete my Notion account, so everything I published via Notion (journal entries, wordsmith business info page, etc.) will be offline for a short time. But it will all be public again soon in a new format.

How are you thinking about making them public again? Obsidian Publish, Quartz, somehow else?

Publish is so good, I already have two subscriptions. I know there's a free alternative, but the convenience of just hitting ctrl-shift-P and it updates all my dynamic dataviews and seamlessly publishes changes is unbeatable

@clinamenic - Up until this week I've been planning to publish my Obsidian digital garden for free via the @wanderloots.eth method (see link). But now I find myself leaning more toward Obsidian Publish, for exactly the reasons Thomas mentioned. Bottom line: I'd much rather spend my time on writing + editing than dealing with a GitHub + Netlify learning curve just to save $8/mo. And I'm no longer paying for a Notion subscription, so that makes it even more tempting. That said, I haven't actually made a decision yet. Also, I'm currently eyeing lovable.dev (it's free this weekend) and thinking about using it to vibe-code a basic site for my business info, so I do have a bit of the tinkering urge... lol. @aviationdoctor.eth - I'm wondering: why did you opt for two subscriptions to Obsidian publish? Fwiw, after the initial set up of the garden plugin, it’s the same as hitting ctrl shift p to publish :) All dataview works too I could see a lag before bases are incorporated, but that will be in beta for a while still
