My hot-take from today's scoutgame.xyz newsletter. -- Claude Code and Cursor are turning devs into one-person armies—and project maintainers into collateral damage. Scout Game keeps it classy, but elsewhere, AI-generated pull requests are flooding repos like spam in a comment section. Too many of these PRs don’t fix the issue, break the style guide, or straight-up don’t compile. Some devs mean well. Others? Just chasing token airdrops like it’s scratch-off season. TL;DR: Use AI, but don’t be that person. Learn the repo, read the guide, test your code. Automation’s cool. Etiquette’s still manual. I just read something wild about casinos: They have no clocks or windows, so you lose track of time. They offer free drinks, flashy lights, and constant noise .... all designed to keep you disoriented but entertained. Eventually, you forget you're even in a gambling environment and just keep going. Even if you're wearing a wristwatch, the atmosphere is so distracting that you hardly ever check it. Omo!
