The other thing they will try to obscure is that Jan 6th was an attempt to overthrow an election by force and remove the future president from power. Aka a insurrection. The current protests can be super violent, but they don't care to overthrow the president, even if protesters would like it, it's not the purpose. So it's dumb to act like they are equivilants.
