Can you have a mid-life crisis at 33? 😂 I feel like I've been going crazy over here in my corner trying to figure out where I want to be in life because I can confirm that what I'm currently doing is NOT it. After discovering crypto, DEGEN and taking part in the web3 space this past year, I'm now realizing that TECH is where I really want to be. I finally signed up to Coursera so I can start skilling in the different areas of tech until I find the one for me. Wish me luck! 💪🏾 First up, introduction to Cloud Computing! 🧑🏾💻

That’s awesome! As someone who made a big career change into tech, I’ll say: 1) I’m very pleased with my decision and the opportunities it has brought and continues to bring 2) it’s easy to get overwhelmed and discouraged, especially at the start. Don’t give in to imposter syndrome. Just keep learning and pushing and building! Perseverance is key 💪 200 $degen

Thank you, much appreciated fren 🥰 That's so awesome to hear too! Must have been scary at first but I'm sure you can say it was 100% worth it. How long ago did you make the switch? What part of tech are you in? I'm trying to set myself up to be able to handle future hurdles as much as possible. Right now, my goal is to study at least an hour a day (currently averaging 2-3h) that way I can build that habit from early on. Once it catches on I'll be good, I used to study like crazy back in the day so just waiting for that to kick in 😂 250 $degen

I’ve been doing software development for around 7 years now. Mostly web apps. Has definitely been worth it in my case. Building a strong study habit is the way to go. Succeeding long term in tech is super dependent on continued learning. Things seem to be moving faster all the time, so keeping a growth mindset is crucial. I think learning to utilize AI in your workflows (for learning and working) is obviously going to be important — that’s something I’m hoping to be better at
