In 2019, over 910,000 students in Myanmar participated in the university entrance exam. By 2023, that number had dropped to just 160,000—a staggering 80% decline.
Myanmar is facing a massive education and participation crisis, leaving an entire generation of young people without direction, support, or opportunity.
The devastating 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck near Mandalay on March 28, 2025, has further exacerbated the situation.
To address these challenges, we are launching an initiative to build safe, connected spaces where young people can learn, create, and grow again.
If you’d like to be part of addressing this crisis directly, here’s the link to donate or share: https://www.pledge.to/myanmar-earth-quake-relief-fund
Huge thanks to the six donors who’ve helped us raise $220 so far. Let’s keep building together. 0 reply
