VCs not funding apps is down to two things imo:

- consumer is damn hard to breakout outside of pure speculation, team has to be cracked in product, eng and distribution 

- VCs have become risk averse because there is so much money to be made in infra tokens, so why take the risk when they can almost always guarantee some marked return
