ok my take per country: england has bad amenities, old buildings, worst food i tried wales so rural and old, also bad food, streets that look soviet-era depressive culture-wise and people-wise both are ok though haven't been to ireland or scotland yet as with other countries, uk has MANY good things going, there are just MANY other countries with many good things going without uk-specific issues

I would highly recommend coming to Scotland especially the north, there’s not a place you wouldn’t feel safe walking around. More a fan of Edinburgh than Glasgow though. Fife coast is beautiful. Haven’t been to wales since I was a kid, and haven’t been to Ireland (republic and Northern Ireland) In over 10 year and I believe those places have changed substantially since all the mass illegal immigration issues. I went to London last year and it was just awful. Some really nice old style pubs, but the general feel was dirty, and the drug selling at night was insane. Interesting thread, funny how some people get offended so easily 😂
