What makes an account "inauthentic"? 

We're considering a new labelling system for inauthentic accounts. These accounts, often incorrectly called bots, will be hidden from like counts and other metrics in Warpcast. 

Inauthentic accounts give real people the ick because they're clearly trying to get value for their account at the expense of everyone else on the network.

Authenticity lies in the eyes of the believer.

I like how this conversation comes back once in a while and there's at least an attempt to find out a way that works out for at least half the people in the replies here trying to flag things.

A lot of still stays subjective.

I've been on all sides at some point and I think it's still a fluke to when your content gets picked up, who amplifies it and how it gets distributed.

Always open to explore, experiment and go with the flow as I step into year 3 of being on the purple app.

A lot of users I observe continuously try to experiment with a mix of things they post but once in a while again give up because they aren't finding visbility.

Also this is just an observation, the algo may also sometimes push down if you are just complaining while a few get highlighted because they go against the system and still try to game attention.
