One thing I realised yet again in the last few weeks is: "casting a lot" is not the way to grow here it's more of being in conversations it's more of being a part of a community it's more of uplifting someone or handing a support it's more of sharing opinions and agreeing to disagree it's more of you in authenticity

Casting a lot, but with meaning. š«£ I like seeing it as a balance between being cringe from being yappy, and actually producing something by the end of the road it leads. (ie, my relentless thought posting about my charity, but it leads to a mini-app and actual public goods being boosted, so my dumb yapping has value as long as itās organic. At least, thatās my wishful thinking keeping me active here lol)

Love to see this thought, I somewhat agree here but I also feel it has to be a mix of both real time life sharing, good conversations and even some yapping. Just makes it holistic. And also while you are being real + yourself, it makes your cause driven shares even more valuable. Wyt?

Definitely. The mantra ājust be youā is much more meaningful especially on-chain where we have AI agents growing in a way that challenges us (ie, Neynar scores) to be ābetter than the bot.ā It doesnāt mean we have to be the best quality or quantity like web2 focused on in the end. It means we just have to be our uniquely human selves and contribute more to the world than a bot can on our behalf. Itās a way to compel and reward us to be more open/transparent/human-original and less about ācopy the content that wins.ā Sorry Iām wordy. š Blaming my law degree.

Also the point of you focusing so much on being uniquely human selves and open/transparent/original, you should never be sorry for being EXACTLY yourself. So if you are wordy, that's the real you and we want that authentic you (ofc beyond the rewards). ;)

The rewards have been icing on the cake- the biggest weight off my shoulders was learning unlike platforms like X, this place is designed for you to just be you. Iām known as the yapper among my friends so⦠š Itās super reminiscent of an old era of online connection we lost before giants took off and we were all still tweaking <div> injections on MySpace and Xanga lol or even earlier on Expages, Angelfire, Geocities⦠Where we made chat bots for PokĆ©mon in AOL chats. A lot of tech creative got lost for a few decades and is resurging it feels like! But with everything we learned in technology since wrapped in as features even individuals can build on. Working on getting the rest of the family warmed up to that realization too, as Facebook/Twitter/Instagram have baked in a lot of thought schools on content sharing to be undone. Farcaster has proven to be incredibly effective at fixing that mindset the more you share here in my experience fortunately!
