i usually exclusively read literary fiction, but a good mate is making me read this. about 10% through and the prose is pretty ugly (translation caveat) but it’s been interesting enough so far.

Most science fiction I’ve read has been “western” so add that to the list of reasons this book felt so different. If you’re still at 10% you can be confident it’s only gonna get more interesting! Let us know what you think when you’re done…
