Today, I happened to stop by Suitengu Shrine.
Suitengu is a shrine famous for prayers for easy childbirth.
The reason there is a bronze statue of a dog is because dogs are known for their fertility and easy delivery.
Before my daughter was born, I once went there to pray for a safe delivery.
