Me too. There are a few on the island here, but they aren't the same as the giants back home.

You ever try the Gia Green all purpose fertilizer? I'm not trying to shill their product. I would build pretty much the same ingredients list as they use. You can read the ingredients list on Amazon. It's pretty great even as an afterthought. Most of the ingredients are soil building so it benefits long term.

I have for several years in the past. There was a point where I was managing several firings simultaneously. I worked as a lab technician in a college ceramics department. Also at the architectural school. Lately I've not been in access to any equipment or time to use it really.

Right on! Feel free if you're inspired. I'm going to keep track of the pea and plant it next year.

An only child. There is only one pea in the pod. I wonder how big it can get 🤔

The project got iced unfortunately. The lead architect / financier turned ill and passed on. We used mostly simple materials because we wanted to be able to replicate the process in third world countries. The most advanced materials used were kao wool and nichrome. Other than that low fire clay bodies and glazes.

Interesting. My ceramics instructor worked for some big arms companies doing ballistics grade ceramics. I'm well aware of how integral they are to many fields. My interest was focalized in pottery and housing. We were prototyping large scale modular firing systems for houses.
