Whoa. So cool. Are you planning to harvest seeds ? I’ve never seem onions flowers.

So, if the onions you get in the grocery store start sprouting you can just set them on the dirt and let them grow. You can continually harvest and prune the greens to eat. Eventually, a flower will come and that is how you get your seeds.

From what I hear, you wanna plant your onions indoors 10 to 12 weeks before your expected last frost. Probably January or February.
