in the mood for blue 🦋 for this piece, i decided to render the facial features with prismacolor instead and the rest with oil pastel (it was a shower thought decision) but i'm really happy with how it turned out 😌 the more messy, rough-textured background in contrast accentuates details of the expression and narrows in on the focal point, which is crucial considering how monochromatic this painting is <3
