We sell 95 percent of our veggies right from the farm, the other 5 percent is sold at the New Bedford Farmers Market, which weāve attended for 15+ years. Itās not a great $ market; yet weāve stuck with it b/c it helps get fresh veggies to folks in the city and often benefits lower income residents who participate in state & federal nutrition programs. This includes Seniors & WIC families in the farmers market nutrition program - who get old fashioned coupons (pictured here) Mass also funds a matching Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) for SNAP recipients. Small scale production isnāt ācheapā and these social programs expand the population who gets to enjoy the nutrition and flavors of seasonal locally grown fruit & veg. Typically 80% of our customers at this farmers market are SNAP/HIP or Seniors/WIC recipients.

Looks great, local is the way to do it. Wish you were in California.
