Sitting with my FIL, who is nearing the end of his life, reading an article and one snetence catches my eye: “love will keep you alive, even if you are no longer here”.
And that’s precisely it. If you are loved, you will live on in the hearts of those close to you. No richness, no political might is as powerful as love is.
