Argot, formed by former Ethereum Foundation members, is dedicated to maintaining the tools Ethereum depends on. Our vision is clear: foster transparency, neutrality, and resilience for the ecosystem’s open-source infrastructure.

The new funding arrangement with EF covers operational costs for the next 3 years, with a pathway to extending support for an additional 2 years subject to further agreements. We deeply value EF’s support.

Argot operates as a Swiss non-profit association, legally structured to align with our public-goods mission and transparent governance commitments.

Argot is now independent, and we’re actively exploring diverse funding avenues. We're connecting with ecosystem supporters and partners to establish sustainable funding models for Ethereum’s critical developer infrastructure.

Our funding will be received primarily in ETH. To responsibly secure our operations, we’ll convert ETH into stable assets progressively. All transactions will be transparently reported, executed carefully, and aligned with Ethereum's long-term interests.
