Just planted the last thing of the season, Butternut squash. A milestone as it has been a long planting season. I started in March with shallots. The climbing frame for the Butternut squash is recycled pruned plum tree (R) branches. šŸŒ±ā™»ļø šŸ’š

It's great to see someone else using plum tree prunings for structure--we do that all the time as well! They grow long, straight whips which make them so ideal. 100 $DEGEN

Excellent! Yes exactly, straight, strong, but flexible. I also use them to weave a trellis for cucumbers and tomatoes in the greenhouse. Happy growing!
