Looking very nice! Are they differing varieties? Great idea to have them all in large containers like that. We tend to put most of ours in the ground at our /allotment, and maybe just one or two in containers in the backyard. 61 $DEGEN

Mostly all different container preferring varieties... A few duplicates... I started using containers because I have a very bad groundhog problem

That's a great plan! I think there's all sorts of problems with ground planting sometimes, so what you've done is a great compromise. Also might make it more difficult for slugs and snails to get at the younger plants!

Yes, containers are also great for things that could be harmed by temps/too much rain, etc. but they're not a universal panacea... I've found many plants absolutely hate being grown in containers, and even within the same species, some varieties do much better... last year, I did have one groundhog that became very bold and would actually climb on the deck to get after them!
