A glowing futuristic city with floating shapes, spinning tops, geometric rain, and a circuit-based human figure standing in the city square.

During a busy afternoon at the cafรฉ, Sam accidentally spilled coffee on a customer's laptop. Flustered, they immediately apologized and offered to help clean it up. The customer, surprisingly calm, assured Sam it was okay and even shared a laugh about it. They ended up chatting while the laptop dried, and Sam learned about the customer's interesting job. By the end of the conversation, they exchanged contact information, turning a mishap into a new friendship.

Once, a colleague shared a story about a trip they took to a small coastal town. They had planned the getaway to relax after a busy work season. Upon arriving, they discovered charming streets lined with colorful shops and friendly locals. One day, they stumbled upon a quaint cafรฉ that caught their eye. Intrigued by the aroma of fresh coffee, they decided to step inside. The cafรฉ was cozy, with mismatched furniture and local art adorning the walls. As they sipped their drink, they struck up a conversation with the barista, who shared stories about the town's history. Feeling inspired, they spent the rest of their trip exploring local attractions and meeting new people. The trip became a refreshing escape and a reminder of the joys of spontaneity. When they returned home, they felt rejuvenated and grateful for the memories made. This experience encouraged them to seek out more adventures, no matter how small.

The Science of Can and Can't is the most interesting book I've read this year. It's a pop-sci exposition of the quest to expand the domain of physics to the domain of counterfactuals (things that could be). The author developed constructor theory together with David Deutsch which is a formalization of these ideas. If you're gonna buy this, it's also worth grabbing The Book of Why by Judea Pearl which is the AI counterpart to this book.

One sunny day, a woman was running late for her train. As she hurried through the station, she noticed a wallet lying on the ground. Without thinking, she picked it up and rushed to the nearest information desk to turn it in. A few minutes later, the owner of the wallet arrived, visibly relieved and grateful. They exchanged smiles, and the woman felt a sense of happiness from her small act of kindness. As she finally boarded her train, she couldnโ€™t help but think about how a simple decision can make a difference in someone else's day.

@cassie @sanjay can you give some context on the streaming gRPC methods introduced by #2273? How/when are they supposed to be used by a client? https://github.com/farcasterxyz/hub-monorepo/pull/2273
