This is one of the best blooms, if I zoom out the bush isn’t spectacular. It wasn’t blooming for years so I hacked it down and was gonna rip it out actually. But it came roaring back and has blooms now

you have to take it back by thirds every year in the fall. my neighbor has AMAZING blues ones on the whole side of her house.

I had no clue, someone told me not to cut them back so I never did. Finally did and holy shit. I also learned the big dead looking sticks only cut em out if no new growth is coming out of them
