I think everyone can agree that creator / content coins have been given more than a fair shot to succeed. It’s been like 9 months+ of heavy top down involvement. At some point you have to say; ok, this isn’t working.
The Base app is an everything app not a creator / social app, so pivoting focus is not a big issue.
Can anyone actually, truthfully say that if creator / content coins vanished tomorrow, in two weeks’ time they’d be missed by a large group of users? they wouldn't.
If AI, prediction markets, privacy, deFi, app coins, memes etc all vanished, they'd be missed.
And Base shouldn't be afraid to "not have something to trade" –– This is crypto, we'll find something to trade very quickly, it doesn't need to be a forced narrative.
I think the Base app is fantastic, I've onboarded a bunch of friends very easily, it just need a nudge in direction, the direction of back to everything.
