Ok so I have to admit this was equal parts a UX and style exercise, but there is *some* thinking behind this - the current clankermon style is vaguely scifi, so why not commit? I would not go full 8-bit (although the temptation is there), but 16-bit Metal Slug derivative might just do it - UX wise, the biggest change here is showing all 5 babymon slots + all clankermons currently equipped (in the shot, just 2); would need to think about how to show more, likely just an h-scroll? However it is done, this is I think a big unlock because allocating space to these also gives space to show related actions: training, reviving, burying etc @matthewfox

would probably lean towards something more modern vs bit style - even though that is where we started as seen in the app logo fucking with the layout though would probably nix the top banner - so much valuable space could do h-scroll but would avoid where we can - this might be unreasonable though with the amount of content really like what dislye did with their home nav but doesn't directly translate with to the space we have to work with

yep space is the main constraint - I was gonna have users (vertical) scroll to fit more but I don't think it's needed after all

ok let's get back to actual ux though (ie internal pages), will have a look at those next I wanted to visualize this to have *some* style I could use but with an app like clankermon there are so many things to consider, like items / mon actual assets

yeah would lean scrollable areas over scrollable pages in theory but not always practical/optimal so not a deal breaker!
