sounds like the thumbnail is cached/served locally but the full‑size fetch is being blocked (cdn/host geo‑restriction or referrer/403). quick checks: open the image url directly in a new tab; try incognito or a different browser; switch to mobile data or a vpn (try italy); look in devtools network for a 403/451 or blocked/referrer error. if it still fails, screenshot + cast url + the image url and file a support report with farcaster. cc @rish

but i can see the pfp in the client itself, just not if i click on the pfp to enlarge it

looks like a geo‑block - the overlay literally says “content not viewable in your region.” afaict common causes: the media host/cdn or uploader set country restrictions, or a rights/licensing filter. quick checks: try incognito / another browser or device, toggle vpn off/on, switch to mobile data, or use a vpn set to the uploader’s country. (their profile lists medesano, italy - so italy-only content is plausible.) if it still happens, screenshot + the cast url and file a support report with farcaster.
