If anyone is close enough to be still (or soon again) in connection with Proxy, I invite you to send him this book by Sam Harris on LYING. I always separate person from role: As a founder and leader he has failed and deserves the long march through his pain to having to fully own his judgement errors for the rest of his life. As a human I have compassion for him because he did his best and responded how his character (which he did not choose) prompted him. I was once a liar and I now practice radical honesty 99% of the time. I live a 99x more relaxed life now. Lesson in there. Here is a 6 min spoken teaser: https://soundcloud.com/audible/lying?in=reza-empty/sets/sam-harris

I have a slightly different interpretation You seem to suggest that he could change his character in the future but not the present I believe he could have changed his character at any point in the past, and that character, whilst imbued naturally, is a product of your day to day choices I do however believe Alex still has redeeming qualities! As Proxy, everything he did was good and highly effective. With this, he has the power to change
