Can we please get facts on the unspent VC money? Otherwise it's hard to assess this deal! Scenario 1: If @dwr and @v can take the vast majority of that sum with them onto their next adventure under Merkle, then @rish and @neynar can't spend it for growth = bearish farcaster (growth). Scenario 2: If a lot of that money gets transferred to the new owner, then it's bullish. Scenario 3: If they had to give most of it back to VCs (can happen sometimes) then it's more neutral. I am asking this question after reading predominantly bullish and complimentary takes from big builder names. The unspent VC money is the biggest question imo.

@dwr if you want farcaster to be the premium trading app then you need to attract "interesting content" from people like this. I doubt they'd be lured in with a creator coin. Give them an allo of a potential airdrop instead. Could $DRB become our short-term shelling point? And lift all clankers? I respect @tldr @tomu and others who openly supporting "another coin" on X so that @mleejr army can get this to 100M which then brings attention orders of magnitude to many other clankers... because most of them originated here on the purple app and clanker is now part of Merkle Discuss
