I’ve seen a few people on here with their own personal channels. So I’ll give it a try as well.

Created /ansgar, and will set my casts there to "channel followers only". That way it’s truly opt-in and I won’t have to worry about spamming people’s feeds.

What’s the point of following your account then?

The idea is to split into "casts relevant to most of my followers" and "things I want to cast about but am worried might be spamming people’s timelines".

I wish I could follow other people in a more nuanced way like that as well, e.g. "ignore their casts/tweets on politics".

I’ll experiment a little with different usage patterns, let’s see what sticks.
