Guy I used to know in a different life. His name was Leon. He embodied many punk values, and knew everyone in town. His house was a safe place for anyone beaten down by the world.

He was about seventeen hands tall, with a mop of wavy, slightly greasy brown hair atop a hawkish face. Eyes that darted from place to place, never lingering too long. His nose stood out due to Rhinophyma, seemingly always plugged and giving him a slight nasal tone. He wore a septum ring for many years. His smile always shone brightly although his teeth were a little crooked. Always quick to laugh. He had a perrennially curious attitude, and was always welcoming to strangers although reserved at times. Borderline gregarious, I used to call him. He once asked me for permission to get tattoos similar to mine because he thought the concept was cool and he looked up to me. I told him he hardly needed it, but it was mildly flattering at the time to be held in such esteem. Later in life he became a Ninjitsu instructor, of all things. In terms of actual looks, he was like a tanned mixture of Frank Sinatra and Seth Rogen.
