Majority of people in the crypto scene have this sort of autistic tunnel vision. nobody builds real products. just meta-crypto stuff which is cool and all but incredibly short sighted. it's like the cancer techbro max growth mindset in a hyperfinancialized context. pretty much every new crypto thing is "we made another thing that nobody needs or will use". nobody has really been working on pure blockchain or crypto as a currency. there are some incredibly low hanging fruit projects that would serve as actual utility (other than number go up). miladychan is probably the closest thing to a real product. i think a good crypto project isn't about crypto at all, but leverages crypto to solve real problems. i get we need to play around with the tools and tech to find its limitations and to innovate but i really want to start seeing B2B solutions and normie focused products.
