I’m excited about AI precisely because it will devalue the human mind
Who cares if it’s reasoning or not — we just need it to replicate the output of thought sufficiently well (which it will be able to, since the realm of thought is limited)
Then we can be freed up to do something much closer to being — feel

TL;DR: reality will always outpace symbols to describe it
Feeling captures more of the ineffable qualities about reality (something machines cannot do since they don't have a non-symbolic interface)

feelings are unarticulated thoughts. once you articulate it and put it out there LLMs will absorb it, remix it, reason about it and keep playing with it forever
what you don’t articulate is yours to keep

Thoughts and feelings are both at core energy, just localized in different parts of the body
Once you "articulate" or ascribe symbols to either, the ineffable is lost. Luckily for us, it's great that the map can never be the land, otherwise we would have no shot vs. AI -- they will become masters of the map
